The Australian research group Urban Interior, based at RMIT University Melbourne, together with the Architecture Design Innovation Program (ADIP) at TU Berlin holds a Colloquium on Thursday, June 25. The colloquium takes place in the Kubus (by Volksbuehne) on Rosa Luxemburg Platz. The Kubus is a temporary public interior with an open space program, and is designed by the stage set designer Bert Neumann, from Volksbuehne Berlin. Three members of the research group, Suzie Attiwill, Mick Douglas and Rochus Urban Hinkel present their recent projects. Out of a number of external guests, Dr Hélène Frichot (RMIT), Alex Schweder (Artist) and Mathias Heyden (TU Berlin) give a presentation about their current research. This Thursday, June 4th, in the morning we will have Jean-Phillipe Vassal as a guest critic to discuss your projects, in the afternoon i am offering additional tutorials. I believe we might be able to get through 6-7 projects with Jean-Phillipe, so far Niklas, Michael, Caitlyn/Laure/Elba, Antoine and Ivan/Jakob have confirmed their participation in the morning. Please come all at 9.45am, so we can set everything up and do not loose any time, as Jean-Phillipe’s time is limited.
